China Widener is a partner in the technology industry practice at Deloitte Consulting. She has 25+ years of professional experience, she leads clients through technology enabled business transformation and operating model optimization to achieve performance outcomes. China serves as the Consulting Business Leader focused on technology infrastructure, cloud, cyber and computing segments for top 50 companies, coaching technology professionals and serves on Deloitte’s US Board of Directors as well as leading or advising multiple Firm DEI communities including Black Action Council, LGBTQIA++ and East Asian and South East Asian Communities. She is a member of WCCIO forum and ITSMF.
Prior to Deloitte she held roles as COO/ In-house Counsel and Asst. Prosecuting Attorney.
Since joining Deloitte, she has co-authored published articles on use of technology frameworks for business, delivery model analysis and closing talent gaps. She is a highly sought-after keynote speaker and facilitator.
China received her B.S. from Eastern Michigan University, and holds a J.D. from the University of Maryland, Francis King Carey School of Law.
China and her wife reside in Austin, TX where her spare time is spent supporting cattle ranching activities and learning the art of dirt-track auto racing.
