Christina Lee is Senior Vice President and Head of Legal for U.S. Businesses at CNA. She serves as an advisor to senior executives and leads a team of professionals providing legal, regulatory and transactional support to CNA’s U.S. business units and corporate functions.  

Prior to joining CNA in 2021, Christina was the Senior Vice President and Global Deputy Chief Compliance Officer for Chubb Group. While there, Christina led transformation and executed strategy and operational plans, mitigating regulatory compliance risks across the globe. Prior to Chubb Group, Christina spent 11 years at AIG in roles of increasing responsibility, including as Deputy General Counsel of Global Legal, Compliance and Regulatory. She advised executives on multinational transactions, multi-channel distribution, product development and risk management.

Earlier in her career, Christina served as an attorney for the New York State Insurance Department Liquidation Bureau, where she represented the Superintendent as the statutory receiver of impaired or insolvent insurance companies. Christina started her career as a commercial litigator in private practice.

Christina is a member of the Board of Directors of the Insurance Federation of New York. From 2013 – 2018, she served on the Board of Directors of the New York Property Insurance Underwriting Association. She also served on the Advisory Board of the Women in Shared Services and Outsourcing.

Christina is passionate about developing future leaders and is a champion of diversity, equity and inclusion. She was recognized in 2023 by the Korean American Lawyers Association of Greater New York as the Keynote Honoree, and in 2022 by the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association with the Diversity Leadership Award. Christina currently serves on CNA’s DEI Council and as the Executive Sponsor of the Asian Professionals for Excellence Global Employee Resource Group. Christina served on both the Board, and the Advisory Board, of the Asian American Bar Association of New York, as well as a faculty member of the In-House Counsel Leadership Development Program.

Christina received a B.A. in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley and a J.D. from the Temple University School of Law.
