Robyn Cross is a dynamic leader in the Total Rewards Operations team at Newfront, where she spearheads the strategy and expansion of Newfrontiers, an innovative vendor partnership program for total rewards and wellbeing solutions. With a keen focus on developing inclusive wellbeing initiatives, she has successfully implemented dozens of health promotion programs that have significantly supported workplace transformation efforts across diverse industries.
Robyn joined Newfront (formerly ABD) in 2015, has served as Chair of the Employee Wellbeing Committee, was an inaugural member of the DEI Council, and is a Co-Founder and former Co-Lead of the BLACKfront Employee Resource Group. In these roles, she has driven initiatives that enhanced employee engagement and fostered a more inclusive workplace culture. Her experience as a workers' compensation claim consultant allowed her to leverage her dual expertise in healthcare and insurance to reduce injury and illness costs for clients, achieving substantial cost savings and improved employee health outcomes.
In her fifteen-year career across a variety of healthcare functions, Robyn has been dedicated to advancing the health and wellbeing of underserved communities. Her work has addressed critical issues such as mental health stigma, chronic disease management, food justice, and nutrition access. Her passion for community health is backed by her academic credentials, which include a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Spelman College and a Master of Public Health in Community Health Education from San Francisco State University. Robyn's commitment to service extends beyond her professional life. As a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., she actively contributes to various community initiatives. Residing in Oakland, California, she balances her professional pursuits with personal interests such as playing tennis, painting abstract art, and enjoying live music. She values time with loved ones and embraces opportunities to travel the world, enriching her global perspective and community connections.
