Omari Aarons-Martin is the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of the National African American Insurance Association. He is responsible for the strategic development and execution of the association’s 27+ year mission to diversify the insurance industry’s talent landscape at every level. Prior, Aarons-Martin served as Employee Enablement Strategy Leader for Liberty Mutual’s Global Retail Markets U.S. Division and spent 10 years at Macy’s after completing their executive development program in the credit and customer service division and progressing to senior manager and director roles in learning and development, leadership development and human resources.
A native of Washington, D.C. and an ordained minister in the African Methodist Episcopal Church, Aarons-Martin holds a Bachelor of Arts from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio and a Master of Divinity cum laude in Global and Community Engagement from Boston University School of Theology.
